With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Max Virgil McMains of Burr Oak, Kansas, born in Superior, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2024 at the age of 16. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Tracy Core and Jeanie McMains; and his uncle Bradley Cusatis, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Nate McMains (Jackie) and Tessa McMains (Core); his brothers, Mason of Burr Oak, Kansas and Morgan McMains of Burr Oak, Kansas; his grandparents, Kevin, Claudette Noble of Belleville, Larry and Shirley McMains of Burr Oak, Kansas; and his great-grandparent Sheila Sjoholm of Hardy, Nebraska. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Memorials can be made to the Max McMains Memorial Fund in care of Melby Mortuary, P.O. Box 384, Mankato, KS 66956.
