He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Nystrom and June Nystrom (Spurgin); and his daughter Kathy. He is survived by: his wife Pat of Marion; his children, Terry Nystrom (Pamela) of Central Square, Tina Spencer (Tom) of Peabody and Amanda Meerian (Marcus) of Topeka, Kansas; his grandsons, Jacob (Rachel) and Jefferson Nystrom; his children, Perri, Lukas, Christopher Spencer, Makenna, Mason and Marshall Meerian; and his siblings, Robert Nystrom (Bridget), Connie Millheim (Randy) of Valley Springs, Deborah Maltbie (Dale) of Andover, Pamela Lewis (Dick) of Derby and Daniel Nystrom (Kristy) of Libertyville, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
