She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Fraley and Rosa Viola Fraley; her siblings, Robert Leroy Fraley and Katherine Louise Kenney; and her husband Michael David Mitchell.

She is survived by: her children, Shan Mitchell of Wichita, Kansas, Shawn Mitchell of Jarrell, Texas, Heather Keene (Kaylon) of Breese, Illinois and David Mitchell (Mandy) of Newton, Kansas.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Burns Countryside Church (Formerly known as The First Mennonite Church) and Meals on Wheels of Newton Kansas.
