With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Novella Merry of Burlington, Kansas, born in Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George A Lodle and Ethel M. Jacobs Lodle; her husband Loren D. Merry; her children, Robert L. Merry, Ronald D. Merry and Dianne M. Heins; her siblings, Robert Lodle (Coni), Elwood Lodle (Bette), Beatrice Morgan (Bob) and Lucille Melton (Jim); and her sister-in-law Ann Lodle.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell L. Merry (Leila) of Olpe, KS, Gene L. Merry (Barbara) of Burlington, KS, Rodger G. Merry (Diane) of Bartlesville, OK and Janice C. Barrons (Roger) of Manhattan, KS; her brother George A. Lodle of Emporia, KS; her nephews, Phil Morgan and Steve Lodle; and her niece LuAnne Crocker. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
