With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Makepeace of Burlington, Kansas, who passed away on June 3, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Makepeace; her son Donald Roy Mefford; her stepdaughter Bonnie David; and her siblings, Howard Foxworthy, Junior Foxworthy, Francis Beckett, Ellie May Strobel, Alfred Foxworthy and Herbert Foxworthy.
She is survived by: her children, Herman Hal Mefford of Bonner Springs, KS, Linda Sue (Rumrill) and David Lee Mefford (Virginia) of Burlington, KS; and her brother Aubrey Foxworthy (Martha). She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
