He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Black and Dortha Black (Alexander); his children, Monica Finlayson (Jeff) of Burlington, Marty Black (Pam) of Burlington and Carmen Francis (Dee) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Corey Finlayson (Courtney) of Burlington, Casey Finlayson (Sally) of Burlington, Trent Black of Ottawa, KS, Justin Black (Abbie), Jeremy Black and Jordan Black of Wichita, KS; his great grandchildren, Abby, Jase Finlayson, Clara and Henry Finlayson; and his sister Virginia David. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
