She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Wayne and Lois Althea Marquis (Nichols); and her sister Donna Reynolds. She is survived by: her children, Martin Ernst (Stephanie), Justin Ernst and Kylea Shoemaker (Garrett); her grandchildren, Ivy, Lillyan Gerow, Landen Ernst, Baylor Ernst, Grayson, Kohlton and Maggie Shoemaker; her great grandchild Kason Totty; and her siblings, Robert Marquis of Lynn Valley, KS and Cindy Metcalf of Lynn Valley, KS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (801 Garrettson St, Burlington, KS 66839). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Lancaster United Methodist Church (36665 New Lancaster Rd, Paola, KS 66071).
