With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard J Sage of Burlingame, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard J Sage to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Sage and Maxine Sage (Montgomery); his sister Helen Smith (Dan); and his grandsons, Jonathan Anstaett, David Anstaett and Ethan Sage.
He is survived by: his wife Donelda Sage; his children, Eric Sage (Crystal), Anje Anstaett (Randy) of Olathe, KS and Edie Higgins (Jerry) of Chester, VA; and his sister Doris Bremer (Gary) of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home (503 S Topeka Ave, Burlingame, KS 66413). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Federated Church of Burlingame (322 S Topeka Ave, Burlingame, KS 66413).
