It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Laverna Cord of Burlingame, Kansas, born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cord and Elizabeth Cord (Renner); her sister Lavetta Seitz; her grandson Jason Kealy; and her close friend Moody Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Cross (Max) of Eskridge, KS, Eldon Hinck of Burlingame, KS, Debbie Hawkins (Mark) of Eskridge, KS, Skeeter King (Jim) of Eskridge, KS and Jimmy Hinck of Burlingame, KS; and her siblings, Charlene Blacketer of Osage City, KS, Frank Cord of Vassar, KS and Bill Renner (Lorraine) of Osage City, KS. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
