It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Rice of Burlingame, Kansas, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Rice to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal George and Ruth Johnson Hotchkiss; her son-in-law Jeff McFarlane; and her brother-in-law Larry Brock. She is survived by: her daughters, Patti and Pam; her husband Carl; her daughters, Patricia Lynn Rice Beach (Dennis), Pamela Jo McFarlane and Peggy Jean Rice; her grandchildren, Josey McFarlane (Christina), Jacob McFarlane (Katie) and Kelsie McFarlane Kooser (Brad); her great grandchildren, McKenna, Madison, Morgan, Moxie, Jameson McFarlane, Justice, Preslee, Ryker McFarlane, Braxton, Jeffrey Decker, Collins and Kane Kooser; and her siblings, Joneal Brock, Janis Grandon (Dennis) and Gene Hotchkiss (Kari). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and several friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Marilyn Hotchkiss Rice Memorial Fund or Jeff McFarlane Memorial Scholarship Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.
