He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Shean and Leona Shean; his daughters, Deann and Leann Shean; his brother Glenn Shean; his grandsons, Damian and Dalton Davis; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Ignaszak and Chet Droste.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Helms; his daughters, Lori Shean and Becky Hord (Kevin); his grandson Aiden Hord; his sisters, Sharon Droste and Janell Ignaszak; and his sister-in-law Jovita Shean.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to St. John Cemetery Fund or Alzheimer's Association both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
