He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly J. Waggoner; his son Michael Steffen; and his brother Cecil Steffen. He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Reece (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Tyson Steffen (Chelsea), Teresa Burnett (Brooks), Jeffrey Reece (Emily), Phillip Reece (Allison) and Michael Reece (Jessica). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
