He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Helen Jowers Griffie Sr.; and his brother Herbert E. Griffie. He is survived by: his wife Catherine A. Keillor; his children, Sclie Murray (Danny) and Clint Griffie (Stacie); his brothers, Daniel Griffie, Robert Griffie, William Martin Griffie and Gregory Griffie; his grandchildren, Emma and Owen Griffie; and his father William Griffie Sr..
