She was predeceased by: her parents, David Frederick and Frances Josephine Sprinker Hammeke; and her siblings, Ethel Ringwald, Bernice Bryant, Kathleen Dauber, Alice Fountain, Vernon Hammeke and Keith Hammeke.

She is survived by: her husband Lawrence L. Bauer; her children, Tom Bauer (Karen), Brad Bauer (Shelley), Alan Bauer (Mary), Dana Bauer and Annette Reece (Kent); her brothers, Robert Hammeke (Bernadine) and Richard Hammeke; and her sisters-in-law, Louise Hammeke of Ellinwood and Angie Hammeke of Ellinwood. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
