She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard and Lethia Pearl Herndon (Winfree); her husband John Thompson; and her sister Helen Smart of Republic, Missouri.. She is survived by: her children, Robin Niederee (Bill) of Great Bend and Marshall Thompson of Burdett; her siblings, Ellen Reed of Friendship, Joyce Roerig of Goose Creek and William Herndon of Mount Vernon, Missouri; her grandchildren, Daniel Thompson (Heather) of Hanston, Dillon Thompson of Burdett, Katlyn Rosborough (Jonathan) of Washington, D. C., Allison Niederee of Los Angeles and Sarah Niederee of Buffalo; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, William, Annabeth Thompson and James Rosborough. She is also survived by wife as most farm wives.
