With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin James McMinn of Burden, Kansas, born in Winfield, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, DJ McMinn and Edith McMinn (Smith); his wife Lula Mae Bourne; his daughter-in-law Jeanine McMinn; and his granddaughter-in-law Becky McMinn.
He is survived by: his children, Donald McMinn, Bradley McMinn (Sheila) and Marva McMinn Blair (Harvey); his brother-in-law Chester Powell; and his grandchildren, Mardi McMinn, Dori Lendvay (Mike), Tiffani Wooten (Ronny), Zachery Blair (Tara), Michelle Wunderlich (Jered), Shad McMinn, Travis McMinn (Lindsey) and Cassie Cobas (Pete).
A memorial has been established in Marvin's name for the First Baptist Church of Burden. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
