She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marshall and Dolly Marshall (Martin); her husband James "Jim" Kaats; her son Mark Hammonds; and her sisters, Violetta Haggard and Mary Sue Mounce.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Wade Hammonds of Burden and Susan Kaats (Matthew Comstock) of Burden; her son-in-law Dale Jenkins; her grandchildren, Colby Hammonds, Casey Hall, Taylor Jenkins, Cody Jenkins (Megan) and Dion Hammonds; and her great grandchildren, Kyler Villa, Drelyn Hall, Daxx Warren, Dane Jenkins, Ava Bigger and Katlin Bigger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156).
