He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Christensen and Corinne Christensen (Welch); his wife Vernadene D. Smith; his daughter Cheryl Carlson; and his siblings, Margery Johnson, Mabel VanSlyke and Donald Christensen.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Lora Carlson; and his brother Norman Christensen (Donna) of Garden City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
