She was predeceased by: her parents, Fargie McLean and Eva Marie McLean (Hirst); her son Merlin Leon; her husband George Friesen; her niece Sherri; and her brothers, Kenneth, Frederick and Glen.
She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Mayree (Vern) of Hutchinson; and her grandchildren, Matt King of Hutchinson, Holly Daniels of Wichita, Justin, Taryn and Colin Nusser of Hutchinson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler, or Good Shepherd Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
