She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Theiszen and Helen Epp Theiszen; and her son Paul Martens. She is survived by: her husband Wilbur F. Martens; her daughter Kay Knackstedt (Steve); her grandsons, Jade of Inman, Dawson of Inman, Baxter of Inman and Madison Knackstedt of Inman; and her siblings, Nina Smith, Lela Regier (Cal), Lelan Thieszen (Marlene) of Henderson, NE, Dean Thieszen (Barb), Erland Thieszen, Jim Thieszen (Carol) and Glendon Thieszen (Rita). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
