He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin "Mutt" Teter and Norma Teter (Schanbacher); his wife Sherry Teter; and his siblings, Peggy Moffett, Richard Teter and Billy.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Jackson (Marshall) of Nickerson and Justin Teter (Amy Speirs) of Wichita; his brother Douglas Teter (Vicki) of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Teter, Jasmyne Armstrong, Kaylee Teter and Draven Armstrong; and his great grandchild Hazel Murray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
