She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Leroy and Christina Dora Johnston (Wakefield); her daughter Glenna Mitchell; her sister Virginia Rife; and her stepson Gregory Hartle.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Hartle of Buhler, KS; her daughters, Julie Kitston of Hutchinson, KS and Suzy Mattison (Mark) of Hutchinson, KS; her stepsons, Alan Hartle of Florida and Jerod Hartle of Hutchinson, KS; her adoptive son Christopher Hartle (Kara) of Hutchinson; and her siblings, Mary McCoy (Terry) and Russell Johnston (Jolene). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
