He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Leatherwood and Dorothy Leatherwood (Brice); his former wife Marie Asenkerschbaumer; his wife Cheryl Britton; his children, Jerry Ulrich, Liz Yoshisato, Susie Ahlman, Cathy Ulrich, Melissa Swaim, Scott Leatherwood, Lori Haus and Brian Leatherwood of Lawrence, KS; and his siblings, Donna Ackley, Janine Graham, Neil Leatherwood, Russell Glynn and Rene Yount. He was also cherished by 17 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.
