He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Waldo and Rena Mae Stimpert (Hoffman); and his siblings, Melvin, Gerald Stimpert, Velma Burgess and Norma Seibel.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine Ackerman; and his children, Roger (Lynelle), Kingsdown, Linda Wegenast (Jim), Martin (Doriane), Wally (Angie) and Alan (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
