She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Ferguson and Sarah Ferguson (Schul); her former husband George Nickelson; and her husband Marshall Cusick. She is survived by: her nephews, Greg Ferguson and Keith (Denise Ferguson); her niece Rebecca (Terry Cornett); and her grandchildren, Michelle (Nichola Kieffer) and Douglas (Savanna Cummins).

The family suggests memorials be made to the Minneola Long Term Care Unit or CrossWalk Christian Church both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
