He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy McCarty and Bessie McCarty (DeFoor); his son Allen Kenneth McCarty; his siblings, Euield, Lona Mae Wells (Leonard) and Ervin (Mabel); his daughter-in-law Bonnie McCarty (Terry McCarty); and his siblings-in-law, George Austin, Wayne Austin, Roy Austin, Keith Austin, Audrey Richardson, Joann Austin and Judy Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Marion; his sons, Melvin McCarty (Sheila) of Wright, Kansas, Kevin McCarty (Dina) of Berthoud and Terry McCarty of Kingsdown; his grandchildren, Kylee Weber (Erik) of McPherson, Eric McCarty (Jenna) of Windsor, Kacie McCarty of Bucklin, Michelle Firestone of Loveland and Danielle Dulin (Mike) of Warrensburg, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Dylan McCarty, Kyle Weber, Ethan Weber of McPherson, Isaiah Coats, Henessy Moore of Loveland and Callen McCarty of Windsor, Colorado; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Austin (Connie), Shirley Austin of Fowler, Patsy Austin of Bucklin and Jane McCarty of Hartford Michigan.
