She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinckney Hancock and Leota Hancock (Lowrey); her husband Bill C. Matzen; her siblings, Wayne Hancock and Wilma Jane Weyrauch; and her grandson Clayton Matzen.
She is survived by: her sons, Sam Matzen (Sheryl), Dr. Ted Matzen and Ken Matzen; and her brother Dale Hancock (Nadine). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
