John Ford Swayze Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2021, at the age of 85, John Ford Swayze of Bucklin, Kansas, born in Dodge City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Mildred Swayze (Ford); his siblings, Kenneth Lee Swayze and Shirley Ann Rainman; and his grandson Jonathan Imel.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Fletcher; his children, Fletcher Swayze (Eva), Kingsdown, Danielle Imel (Matt) and Kami McDonald (Damon); his sisters, Char Kirkpatrick and Lynn Stenzel (Vern); and his grandchildren, Faith Imel, Nathan Imel, Kate McDonald, Kaylee McDonald and Drew McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hospice of the Prairie or the Bucklin American Legion, both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
