We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2024, at the age of 87, Gordon Barnhardt Jr. (Bucklin, Kansas), born in Leavenworth, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gordon and Blanche Barnhardt (Brune); his wife Martha Barnhardt (Collingwood); his siblings, Rita Gail Barnhardt and Charles Thomas Barnhardt; and his great grandchildren, Carson and James Barnhardt.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Pace (Dan) of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, Rebecca Barnhardt of Bucklin, Kansas, Roger Barnhardt (Stacey) of Lakin, Kansas, Bob Barnhardt (Beth) of Durango, Colorado and John Barnhardt (Janese) of Nixa, Missouri; and his brother Bill Barnhardt of Leavenworth, Kansas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to Audubon of Kansas, Hill Top House, or the Minneola District Hospital, all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Avenue, Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
