He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Earnest and Lizzie Belle Hoover (Brock); and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Diana Hoover of Bucklin; his children, Brock Hoover (Misty) of Kinsley, Kansas, Sloan Marriott (Mark) of De Soto, Paige Brack (Shawn) of Mullinville and Jodi Katz (Chasen) of Russell, Kansas; and his brother Larry Hoover of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minnis Mortuary - Bucklin (214 S Main St, Bucklin, KS 67834). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Buckling Cemetery.
