He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bettenbrock and Marian Bettenbrock (Finke). He is survived by: his son Cole Bettenbrock (Rachel) of Manhattan; his sister Susan Appler (Mike) of Norwalk, IA; and his niece Marci King.
