It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Joe LaRue of Bronson, Kansas, born in Iola, Kansas, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles LaRue and Elaine Johnson LaRue; and his grandchildren, Hunter Kovacic and Makala LaRue. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Sherry Dwyer (Terry) of Linwood, KS, Linda Zibert of LaHarpe, KS, Donna Kovacic (Jeff) of Stark, KS, Donald LaRue (Janet) of Overbrook, KS and Dean LaRue of Linwood, KS; his brothers, Larry LaRue (Mary Ann), Roy LaRue (Amy) and Ray LaRue (Tami) of Moran, KS; and his grandchildren, Diana (Tyler), Julia (Chad), Bryson, Wade, Abby and Orin. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
