It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Underwood of Bronson, Kansas, born in Mapleton, Kansas, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Underwood and Wilma Underwood (Clayton); his son Benjamin; and his grandsons, Dru and Gabriel Cisneros.
He is survived by: his close friend Kathy Samaniego; his daughters, Diana K. Heckman (Jerry) and Julia Brown (Keith); his siblings, Mary Wood, Patty Homan (Henry), Peggy Kuns (Jim), Lori Bower (Terry), Leland Underwood (Debbie), Dale Underwood (Judy), Steve Underwood and Paul Underwood (Diane); and his uncle Larry Underwood. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 p. m. at Bronson Cemetery in Bronson, KS. ***At this time there is no longer a statewide limitation on the number of people attending funerals or visitations, however those in attendance will be asked to maintain social distancing, and that people are asked to wear face masks to protect themselves and others.
