He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vernon Hooker and Peggy Minard; his son Chris Hooker; and his siblings, Jerry Dean Welch, Claudia Ann Harrison and Patricia Jean Lopez.
He is survived by: his brother George Welch (Judy); his nephew Justin Welch; his niece Nicole Ward (Mike); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikenna, Maci and Myla; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Korbin and Kori; his niece Chelsea Gumfory (Josh); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nash and Riggs; and also, Ashley Slavin (Roper) and Dakota Welch (Mary).
