He was predeceased by: his sisters, June Stubbings Sheldon and Audrey Stubbings Dial; and his children-in-law, Alan Bransgrove and Beth Stubbings. He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Harris Stubbings and Dessa Shaw Stubbings; his wife Elizabeth; his daughters, Brian David Stubbings (JoAnn) of Hinsdale, IL, Karen Renee Bransgrove Cadwallader (Gary), Kendra Jeanne Carter (Curt) of Lake Conroe, TX, Kyle Kevin Stubbings of Duluth, GA, Dirk Arlen Stubbings (Kristi) of Winnipeg and Curtis Mark Stubbings (Kelley); his grandchildren, Maria Stubbings, Peter Stubbings, Austin Bransgrove (Audra), Christopher Bransgrove (Julia), Carolyn Stubbings, Lucy Stubbings, Bryce Stubbings, Avery Stubbings, Eric Stubbings and Paige Stubbings; his stepgrandchildren, Charles Carter and Chris Carter; and his great grandchild William Alan Bransgrove. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
