He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Elmer and Irma Elmer (Miller); his brothers, Ed and Tom Elmer; and his daughter Pamela Elmer.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Elmer; his children, Sherry McFarland of Overland Park, KS., Stephen R. Elmer, Jr. of Kansas City, KS. and Wesley Elmer (Amy) of Basehor, KS.; and his siblings, Jim, Tim, Ann, Rosalie, Helen, Bill, Alicia, Mark, Tony and Wayne. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and several other extended family and friends.
