He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Franz and Anna Franz (Verbanic); his siblings, Bernice Holek and Ervin Franz; his former wife Kathleen Franz (Zupanic); and his son-in-law Mark Watson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Therese Riley (Dav) of Shawnee, KS, Debbie Watson of Overland Park, KS, Wendi Coffman-Stanley (Ron) of Lenexa, KS and Rebecca Peterson (Eric) of Castle Rock, CO; his grandchildren, Brienn Riley, Amber Berry (John), Mackenna Talley (Dane), John Riley, Matt Watson (Melissa), Josh Watson, Jessica Banderman (Gus), Kyle Stanley, Nick Stanley (Kelsey) and Joelle Peterson; his great grandchild Charlotte; his nephew Ervin Franz (Mary); and his pet Beasley. He is also survived by extended family and many, many friends.
In lieu of Flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the "Rudolph Franz Memorial Fund".
