She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive parents, Alva Walker and Marion Walker; her family Melba; her daughter Melba; her husband Don Mills; her parents, Alva Walker and Marion Walker; her brothers, Charlie and Victor; her former husband Mitch Mitchell; and her children, Mary Deon Mitchell, Maurice Mitchell (Carolyn) of Shawnee, KS, Michael Mitchell (Tricia) of Basehor, KS, Monte Mitchell (Marty) of Lenexa, KS, Murry Mitchell (Anette) of Leavenworth, KS and Marc Mitchell (JoAnn) of Martinez, CA. She was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family and many, many friends.
Due to Covid Concerns the family has cancelled the public Rosary Service and Visitation that was going to be held Thursday, Jan. 13th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.* The Mass of Christian Burial will still be held 10:30 am, Friday, Jan. 14th at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
