He is survived by: his grandchildren, Austin Sigears, Autum Sigears, Kyleigh Sigears, Travis Hensley and Carrie Hensley; his wife Lynda Suzan Messer-Sigears; his sons, John M. Sigears, Jr., Robert W. Sigears (Carol) and Michael J. Sigears (Jennifer); and his sisters, Dorothy Sigears-Hunt, Carol Sigears-Goff (Russ) and Mary Paula Sigears.
