It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hurshel Surritte of Bonner Springs, Kansas, born in Camden Point, Missouri, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford and Ivene; and his pet Mitzi. He is survived by: his daughter Lesa Rittinghouse (Dale) of Bonner Springs; his grandchildren, Kristen Polackoff (Brian), Brad Rittinghouse, Melissa McMullen (Brian), Tanner McCleary (Janel), Nikki Rittinghouse, Dylan McCleary, Chase McCleary, Bridget Rittinghouse (Garrett Ford) and Lexi McCleary; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Jeanie, Brycen, Stella, Nora, Mason, Michael and Dorothy; his brother Elbert Surritte (Mary) of Harlem, GA; and his uncles, Elvis Fox and Glen Fox. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Bonner Springs Animal Rescue or Phoenix Hospice, both in care of the Funeral Home.
