He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Caswell and Georgia Caswell (Tipton); his daughter Sandra Lynn Frakes; his adoptive son Mike Gilland; and his grandchildren, Christina Frakes and Bobby Stanfield (Doris Annalee Caswell).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Annalee Johnson; and his children, Sherry Rose of Atchison, KS, George "Butch" Caswell of Kansas City, KS, Melissa Logan (Brian Burdette) of Kansas City, KS and Steven Caswell of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
