He is survived by: his wife Susan Robare; his daughter Rachel Robare; and his siblings, Ann Heitzelman (David), Dorothy Steeno (Dan), Donald Robare (Deborah), Marjorie "Cookie" Robare, Monica Gray and Cathy Robare. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
