Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gayla Mock-Seward (Bonner Springs, Kansas), who passed away at the age of 57, on March 21, 2025. She is survived by: her fiancé Jay Seward; her daughter Sarah Mock; her stepdaughter Devin Seward; her parents, Wayne Florence and Glenna Florence; her sister Julie Brown (Bill Brown); her in-laws, Tom, Nancy Odell, Barney and Jane Seward; and her sister-in-law Stacy Parks (Glenn). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and many cherished friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basehor United Methodist Church (18660 158th St, Basehor, KS 66007). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sarah Mock's college fund in care of Glenna Florence.
