She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Newkirk and Gladys Newkirk; her husband Eugene Hemphill; her son Walter Jordan (Sam); her granddaughter Lori Ann Jordan; her siblings, James Newkirk (Dolly), Bill Newkirk, Bea Newkirk, Betty Shroy (Richard) and Jerry Newkirk; her sister-in-law Barbara Newkirk; her daughter-in-law Donna Hemphill; her children, Shirley Cain, Tom Hemphill and Sandra Norton (Richard); her grandchildren, Amanda Cain (Matt Mayer), Jamie Wilks (Colby), Jim Collins, Gary Trotter and Debbie Moore; her son-in-law Ivan Cain; and her siblings, Cloyce Newkirk and Mettie Newkirk. She was also cherished by 3 great grandchildren.
