She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roosevelt and Bessie B. Walters (Pitts); and her siblings, John Smedley Walters, Ina Louise Everette, Blanche Mary Ackerman, Johnnie Lou Patrick, Imogene Jeske and Robert Daniel Ashley, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andrew Russell Lietzen, Kiersten Michele Steinwachs, Morgan Garrett Lietzen and Matthew Lee Lietzen; and her sisters, Neda Gay Tucker, Lavine Simmons and Donna Gail Griffin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Calvary Bible Church.
