With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Johnson of Bonner Springs, Kansas, born in Smithville, Missouri, who passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Johnson; her parents, Guy Tinder and Rosetta Tinder; and her siblings, Guy Tinder, Jr., Harrell Tinder, Mary Kay Brooks and Helen Fry.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Johnson (Robin Bryan) of Edwardsville and Ron Johnson (Janice) of Bonner Springs, Kansas; her brother Glen Tinder (Beverly) of Eudora, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Chris Johnson (Sarah) of Shawnee, Hilary Moulin (Justin) of Edwardsville, Lindsey Peralta (Osman) of Kansas City, Brett Johnson (Randi) of Topeka and Tyler Johnson of Kansas City. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or to the Bonner Animal Rescue in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
