He is survived by: his spouse Patricia McKenzie; his children, Vic Hamby, El Lena Blanton (Jarron) and Larry Hamby (DeAnn); and his sister Florence Thorington of Hutchinson, KS.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
