He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Junior and Charlotte Armstrong (Ellis); his wife Darlene Bergman-Armstrong; and his son Matthew Armstrong. He is survived by: his former wife Diana Minden; his daughter Gina McMahan (Mark) of Bonner Springs, Kansas; his grandsons, Tyler and Blake McMahan of Bonner Springs, Kansas; his stepdaughter Amy Jenkins (Seth) of Bonner Springs, Kansas; and his siblings, Patsy Tyrell of Kansas City, Kansas and Tom Armstrong of New Windsor.
