He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete "" of Tennessee and Josephine Maxwell (Garrett); and his son Daniel Joe "Lil Dan.

Danny then started working in Concrete Construction and eventually started his own company, DJ's Foundation and Flatwork that he grew to a very successful company.
