He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Thompson and Irene C. Thompson (Sally); and his siblings, Charles, Wayne, Donna Jean, Edna, Lois, Barbara, Gloria and Charlene.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Thompson (Gerry); his children, Rebecca "Becky" Mock of Bonner Springs, Glenn "Billy" Thompson (Jessica) of Shawnee, KS, Brian Thompson (Danielle) of Wichita, KS and Brother Newton Thompson of Florida; his grandchildren, Michaela Mock, Jack, Weston Thompson, Braeden, Braxton, Alexis and Bryson Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Jayden and Ace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (5501 Monticello Rd, Shawnee, KS 66226). A rosary will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Kansas Odd Fellows and Rebekah Vision or the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
